As most of you know we use the vans we sell gear for and have travelled extensively in them worldwide for over two decades! The biggest bugbear we have is the conclusion we have come to that across the whole outdoor and camping industry no company has nailed it yet on a quality dining set for anything longer than a temporary weekend outing. It is like everything is just made for picnics!
 
OK let’s talk about this.
 
When you are eating at home you don’t have tiny little plates that you can hardly fit anything on do you? Your household plates are pretty impractical in a moving vehicle due to them being fragile and them rattling when stacked on top of each other.
 
If you use the usual melamine plates that are a bit more durable and are almost always too small there is cut marks in them with red staining from your last pasta, chilli or curry dish. These cuts are harbouring bacteria and you are going to be really sick using those.
 
Then there are the knives, forks and spoons… Plastic handles that fall off and harbour food and bacteria in the handle creases or rivets in handles in higher end sets that fall out or rust in no time despite them supposedly being stainless steel!
 
We just had to do something about this as we personally wanted better so we set to work some time back.
 
We have designed and produced two unique high quality deluxe CVC XPED Series dining kits using high quality stainless steel.
 
We don’t want you to be washing up 3 times a day so our 2-4 person dining set has enough in it for 2 or 4 people if you need to stretch out for visitors. You can get up in the morning, eat breakfast and pop the couple of items you use in the sink or washing bowl (life is too short to waste adventure time washing up). You can then have your lunch and an evening meal and only have to wash up at the end of the day. 
 
The carry case allows you to store your kit away without it all clanging when driving on rougher roads, and makes it easier to take your kit with you on an outing on foot.
 
We also added some smaller bowls for the snacks, bones, nut shells, wrappers, dips or other nibbles. And guess what? The plates in the set are proper plate size like you have at home!

Features of the carry case:
 
1. Thick felted fabric outer cover.
2. Anti scratch fabric lining inside.
3. Cushioned paddings between all utensil layers inside.
4. Mesh pockets on the side for tissue papers etc.
5. Zips with puller tags for the added ease of opening.
6. Two carry handles to ease the weight of the bag while being carried.
 
All utensils are Food Grade certified, environmentally friendly, non corrosive, matt finish camping utensils.
