TERMS AND CONDITIONS
DEFINITIONS
“Company” means Combe Valley Campers Limited
“Client” means the person, firm or company placing an order for services with the Company
“Goods” means any goods and/or services provided by the Company as ordered by the Client
APPLICATION
These terms and conditions apply to any provision of services or materials by the Company to the Client
FORMATION OF CONTRACT
All goods sold by the Company are sold subject to the Company’s standard terms and conditions (as detailed below) which form part of the Clients contract with the Company. Terms and conditions on the Clients order form or another similar document shall not be binding on the Company.
ESTIMATIONS
The prices, quantities and delivery times stated in any estimation are not binding on the Company. They are commercial estimates only which the Company will make reasonable efforts to achieve.
ORDERS
Orders will be deemed to have been placed when an email confirmation of acceptance has been received and the deposit has been received (as mentioned below in section 10)
RIGHT TO SUB-CONTRACT
Unless otherwise agreed the Company shall be entitled to sub-contract all or part of the work
TIMETABLE
The Company will use its best endeavours to supply the services or materials within the quoted time but will not be the essence within the contract
COPYRIGHT
The Client acknowledges that the rights to the Goods are owned by the Company and that the Goods are protected by United Kingdom copyright laws. International treaty provisions and all other applicable national laws
RISK OF LOSS
The risk of loss or damage to the Goods shall pass to the Client upon delivery of the Goods
PAYMENTS
Upon accepting the estimate the Client shall be invoiced for the parts required and any payments to sub-contractors. Payment of this invoice is accepted as a deposit and is non-refundable once any order for the Goods have been placed with external suppliers.
Once the work has been completed, a final invoice will be supplied to the Client by the Company. Payment in full via BACS or CARD before the Client can collect the Goods from the Company.
CANCELLATION
In view of the nature of the service, any order once confirmed by the Company is not cancellable. Cancellation of the Order by the Client will only be accepted on condition that any costs, charges and expenses already incurred, including any charges that will be levied by a
sub-contractor on account of their expenses, work or cancellation will be reimbursed to the Company forthwith.
LOSS OR DAMAGE TO SUPPLIES
The Company will take all reasonable steps to ensure the protection from loss, damage or destruction of the services or materials it supplies to the Client (or which may be received by the Client)
WARRANTY
There is a 12 month warranty on conversion work and parts supplied by Combe Valley Campers Limited. Unreasonable usage causing damage or default is not covered by the warranty.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
The Client shall fully indemnify the Company against any liability to third parties arising out of the Clients use of the Goods.
GOVERNING LAW
These terms of trading shall be subject to and contrived in accordance with the laws of England, and the parties hereby submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts
